Planer Utility Worker – Night (Stratton)

Description of the offer

Introduction

Purpose: The Planer Mill Utility Worker always ensures a clean production area, to maintain a safe environment for production workers and maximize production capability. The Planer Mill Utility Worker also assists Millwright with basic tooling changes during shift change-over and helps prepare the mill for the next production shift by restocking critical supplies. The Planer Mill Utility Worker will learn fire-watch procedures and techniques in support of our maintenance department.

Night Shift : + 2$ shift differential 

Requirements

• Proven reliability
• Basic knowledge of machinery and tools
• Desire to safely work to enhance production processes
• Ability to follow established procedures and practices
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
• Very good communication skills
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, reach and bend
