Introduction

Purpose:      The Electricien is a critical member of a dynamic team that strives for a safe and cooperative work environment that allows for optimum production levels of high-quality lumber. The Electricien plays a central role on the Moose River safety and efficiency results and will cooperate with safety protocols at all times, while reporting conditions that may be of concern. The Electricien is a team player with maintenance and production crews.

Rotating Day Shifts, Potential for Night Shift Once Training is Complete
Weekend Shift (Friday-Sunday) – eligible for double-time pay on Sunday

Requirements

• Proven reliability
•  

  Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner.

•  

  Experience working with VFD’s, PLC’s and HMI’s

•  

  Minimum of two (2) years of industrial electrical experience

•  

  Knowledge of photocells, limit switches, encoders, proximity sensors, analog and digital devices, DC controls and three-phase motors

•  

  Ability to read and understand technical drawings

•  

  Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills

•  

  Properly identify and request machine replacement parts

•  

  Positive attitude and strong work ethic

•  

  A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines

•  

  Excellent communication skills

•  

  Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, twist, reach and bend
